Overview of the scheme
Research Support Funds are open to academic staff and graduate research students for a range of research-related purposes including costs associated with attendance at conferences, travel in support of research projects, and other expenses directly related to the costs of undertaking research work.
Applications may be made at any time but should be submitted at least four weeks before the relevant period of funding (for example, travel or conference attendance). Applications for retrospective funding will only be approved in exceptional circumstances and an accompanying explanation must be provided.
