Each year the University collects information about the research publications produced by each of its Departments and Faculties. This information is required by the Department of Education, Employment & Workplace Relations (DEEWR), and serves as one of the performance indicators upon which government funding for research is based. This information is also used in the compilation of the University's Annual Report and for the Melbourne Law School's Research Report.
The 2008 DEEWR and Non-DEEWR Publications Collection is now available for all academics and students to submit any published works. The publication must be published in 2008 and not be 'forthcoming'.
There are two options for providing your 2008 publications:
- Enter information directly into Themis Publications (Available to Staff only)
Please note, a hardcopy of all publications is required. This will assist with the classification of the publication and year published.
- Complete a Publication Proforma (Available to Staff and Students)

Author Affiliation Certificate: This certificate must be signed where affiliation with the University of Melbourne for a publication can not be found within a by-line, footnote or introduction of the publication.
